Social Responsibility of Statistics

Scope of socially responsible activities

We are strongly committed to promoting and implementing the concept of corporate social responsibility in official statistics. The CSR concept involves developing a strategy that takes into account social interests, environmental protection, and stakeholder relations. This means that when implementing socially responsible activities, we must focus on tasks such as:

  • the use of modern digital technologies,
  • improving the skills of civil servants,
  • ensuring equal access and independence for all users to the services we offer.

An important issue for us is to promote the concept of CSR-D (Corporate Social Responsibility and Disability) in the environment in which we work. It refers to the efficient functioning of people with special needs in society and in professional life. The primary goal of CSR-D is to increase the employment of disabled people in offices and companies, to increase their job satisfaction and identification with their employer.

Our activities in this area include measures aimed at disseminating information and statistical publications on disability. We implement good practices in the field of CSR-D in the following areas:

  • organizational governance,
  • human rights,
  • the work environment,
  • initiatives aimed at local communities.

We also undertake numerous charitable activities aimed at people with disabilities or special needs.

Scope of socially responsible activities

Every year, we describe and publish our CSR activities in a report. This allows us to share our practices and experience in this area with others.
