Organizational structure

Statistics Poland is headed by the President of Statistics Poland. The President of Statistics Poland is appointed by the Prime Minister. He performs his duties with the assistance of public statistics services, i.e. the directors of sixteen statistical offices and two public statistics service units subordinate to him, namely: Statistical Computing Centre and the Stefan Szulc Central Statistical Library.

The President of Statistics Poland manages the work of Statistics Poland with the assistance of the three Vice-presidents, the Civil Service Director of the Office and the directors of organizational units, who perform the tasks specified in the organizational regulations of Statistics Poland and in the internal regulations of the units.

Our statistical offices are located in provincial capitals, while public statistics service units are located in Warszawa and Radom.

The capital city is home to Statistics Poland, which is a government administration office.
