How do we recruit?

Recruitment at Statistics Poland is open, transparent, and conducted with care to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates. In our recruitment announcements, we provide detailed information on the terms of employment and remuneration. The rules and criteria for filling vacant positions at Statistics Poland are governed by internal procedures that comply with applicable regulations.

How the recruitment process works – step by step

  • We publish a recruitment announcement and wait for candidates to apply.
  • We review the applications we receive (if any documents are missing from an application, we inform the candidates by email about what documents need to be supplemented in order to meet the formal requirements).
  • We draw up a list of people who meet the requirements specified in the job offer.
  • We invite candidates who meet the formal requirements to an interview (the interview may be preceded by a knowledge test). In the invitation, we inform them of the date, time, and form of the interview (remote or in person).
  • During the interview, we check the candidates’ knowledge and skills in relation to the requirements specified in the job offer. The interview serves as an opportunity to get to know each other and clarify expectations. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and get to know your future supervisor. The recruitment committee evaluates the candidates after all interviews have been completed. Those who meet the requirements to the highest degree are invited to take up employment. All those who take part in the interview, regardless of the outcome of the recruitment process, receive feedback on the result.
